Born in Tokyo, Japan, Rumiko has spent her early years in Dusseldorf, Germany and traveled all across Europe along with her family. Once dreaming of becoming an archaeologist, she holds her beloved visits to historical architecture and ruins close to her heart - and finds them in her design inspirations to this day.
